Suggestions for a spare tire carrier

I would like to carry a spare tire, however none of my storage bays can accomodate the tire mounted on a 22.5 rim. I think there is enough room behind the gas tank on my 22,000 lb Ford chassis to mount a spare underneath. Does anyone make an aftermarket crank down type carrier that would be strong enough to support the weight of a 22.5 rim & tire. Its not that I want to change a flat myself, I would just like to have a spare available if I ever need one.

I have room in my rear basement to carry an unmounted spare. Most tow truck co's that can change a flat can mount one( I hope )

My '97 Holiday Rambler Endeavor had such a mount. It had 22.5 inch tires. There was a cable with a crank that hoisted the wheel in place, and then you held it there with a couple of wheel lug bolts.

You might contact Monaco to see if they can tell you who supplied it.
