Sumitomo Tires
For what it's worth, I vascilated for months about which tires to use to replace all six on my class A Georgetown. Saw many opinions, and got more confused. They are 225/70- 191/2 . Talked to parts manager at local RV dealership and he showed me what he put on his A and also what the his boss put on his as well. They are Sumitomo's, and came out at about 170. less per tire than Micheline or other name brands. Made in Japan. Remember Nikon, Sony, Toyota, Honda, etc. All were quality. I just came back from long trip, and have to say I am delighted. WHATEVER YOU DO, if you have chinese tires like I did, GET EM OFF.

I have Sumatumo 22.5 on my Itasca and they made a big difference in how the camper drives and rides.

don't see your signature so not sure what coach you have... couple months ago when i searched for 22.5 tires, i found that it (most of japanese tires except bridgestone) didn't meet the max load requirement for mine. i guess for lighter rvs those tires are fine but for heavy ones, need to double check tech specs.

We have run Sumitomos on two of the wife's cars. They hold up well and did well on wet roads.

We put 16 ply H rated ST778 11R-22.5 Sumitomos on the drive and tag axles of our 45' Signature 1 1/2 yrs ago. No problems. We would do it again.

Don't want to start anything, but I recently replaced the Michelins XRVs on our coach with Toyo M120s. Thay are an exact match for the Michelin XRVs and carry the same weight loads, etc. They were also about $1500.00 less cost for 6 and ride great. handling is also improved IMHO.

I put toyos on my previous rv, and this past spring 4 sumitomo rears on the knight. like em just fine, no problems.

YUP - got a new set of the same brand on our older '88 Winnie...

Bought six sumitumo ST718 22.5 two years ago, could not go wrong for the price.

my coach weighs 44,000. I put Sumitomos on it last year, Perfect. Beats the high priced M word tires- now I got more dinero' for diesel

They are good tires, nothing wrong with Japanese tires just make sure they have the correct load rateings.
