Sun Visor

I have a 2004 40' Alpine coach and the drivers windshield electric sun visor will not extend, while the other three sun visors work fine. This coach has the Carefree Powervisors. I don't see any mechanical problems and have tried pulling down on the sun visor while pushing the down switch, with no luck. Any ideas?

Using a multimeter/voltmeter, find the wires going into the power visor motor. There is usually a wire nut or some type of connector to the motor. Put the meter on 20v and touch the probes to the two wires leading to the motor. Then have someone toggle the switch and see if the power is getting to the motor. If no power, then you may have a switch problem or if visors are separately fused, a possible fuse blown. Someone with an Alpine coach may help you if a fuse problem as to its location. My first suspect is the switch which can also be checked with the meter. Let us know what you see or find.
