Super Steer Hose Size Question

I am still having to figure out how to post a question. I just purchased a 2003 Fleetwood Excursion 38P with 2 slides. I called Frightliner and asked what the hose size was on the air ride suspension bags. Three different agents told me 1/4 inch thus I ordered two sets of super steer valves only to learn what I need is 1/2 inch. Has anyone added the super steer valves to their RV. If so, are you happy with the improvement? Can I assume the GVW of a 39 foot diesel pusher RV is greater than 30,000 pounds?

Hi Dennis and welcome to the forum! I've moved your post to here where it will get more views.

By super steer valves are you speaking of the Motion Control Units? SuperSteer Motion Control Units

If so a call to Henderson's, or wherever you bought them should clear up the questions. I had them installed on my 40DP three years ago and think it was a good investment. Not a miricle cure all but made a noticable improvement.

I'm not sure you can assume anything about the GVWR of a 39' DP but 30K would certainly be on the low end IMHO.

Best of luck...
