Super Steer products

I was wondering if anyone on the forum has bought any Super Steer products..IE sway bars, torque bars, bell cranks, etc and was wondering how well they worked on taking the sway , proposing, etc out of their RV..Im thinking of buying some items from them.......Thanks a lot.....

bell cranks were the only item I ever purchased from them. Judging by the cost of the other components... they tend to be priced high. But the bell cranks did work well, just didnt like the blue coating they had on the item.

I looked on their web site and for a package of torque bars and sway bars is around 1300.00 which is pricey but I figured if it takes the handfull out of comming across the Ohio Turnpike it may be worth it...I know I can install them myself so that may take alot of cost out of it also....Thanks for the reply. Super Steer is from Henderson's Lineup and I'm a big fan of Henderson's.

With only 5000 miles on my new DP I took it to their shop in Grant's Pass, Or. I had them perform their Road Test Assessment and then went with their recommendations for improving the handling of my coach.

They installed the SuperSteer bell crank and Motion Control Units and a Safe T Plus Steering Stabilizer. They also checked the alignment and took some slack out of the steering gear.

These changes turned driving my coach from a two handed, white knuckle, wandering challenge to a two finger relaxed experience.

I doubt that the bell crank or motion control units had much to do with the highway handling improvements. The MCUs do help a lot with the side to side rocking when entering/exiting driveways, etc... and the bell crank seemed like a no brainer when I compared to design with that of the OEM product.

Many will say that these products are band aids covering up other problems and I can't disagree with them in principle. However, I had taken my coach back to my dealer twice, to an alignment specialty shop once, and to a Freightliner Oasis shop once in efforts to improve the driving experience... to no avail. Everyone shrugged their shoulders and told me I'd get used to it.

So I can only say that I'm a happy Henderson's Lineup customer and 45,000 miles later I love sitting back and letting my DP cruise down the road only needing two fingers on the wheel to keep it going straight and true.

i have never used there products but have talked with others that have.all were satisfied and "happy campers"

We installed the bell crank, regulators for the air bags and Koni shocks. John was a wealth of knowledge! No more porpoising, positive steering, big difference in crosswinds, cornering was smooth and regulated. You will not go wrong! Good investment in handling and safety!

The Supersteer products are well-designed and high quality. Whether you need any particular one of them may be another story. Figuring out what is needed to correct a problem is the tough part and just throwing parts at it can get expensive.

Hola'....Our .02 worth:
'04 Southwind, 32VS, Class A, V10....
Rear air bags;50-60 lbs.
New rear sway bar bushings (originals gone...)
New tires (dealer last July), Proper Inflation-to-Weight (4 corner!!)
Front end alignment
Installed "Steer-Safe" Units(2) on front axle (Great improvement-SAFETY)
** When we are fairly balanced, 1/4-1/3 fresh water fill (center gravity-frame), and running 55-60 MPH, we are "glued" to the road!
Most improvements with Rear Sway fixed, front align, Air Bags firm, and good as gold...like driving a big passenger van! Really. Wife drives it No Problem ( with good class from 'Barney' @ Lazydays was the best!)
