Surge guards

I am about to purchase a portable 50 amp surge guard.

1 Will a 50amp also cover 30amp? (which is very common in parks)

2 Does anyone know of a 50/30 or 30/50 combo unit?

A 50 amp protector will cover 30 amp and 15 amp.

Good move to get this installed.

1) Yes... no problem.

2) If you're talking about a surge protector which also replaces the dogbone adaptors... I know of none.

Some 50A surge guards will work on 30A, but are not designed for long term use on 30A. Read the fine print before purchasing.

My rig has a 30 amp system. I have a portable 30 amp works good and I would say it has probably saved our electrical system more than one.
I do not care if you buy one that's portable or one that is installed, IMHO it's money well spent.
