swap couch for recliners or loveseat

We have the 06 holiday rambler endeavor with a desk unit on one side and a small couch on the drivers side with air mattress. It is not very comfortable and we would like to put two recliners or reclining loveseat in its place, but its a small space. Any ideas?

We had the same issue with the couch and ended up with Lazboy recliners. The only ones we found that fit the space. One problem to fit the chairs was we had to extend the slide out floor from 26" to 32" to allow room for the foot print of the chairs and maintain enough room from the wall so they could recline. This was done by putting a piece of 3/4" plywood on top of the original floor.
They are screwed to the floor with 4 wood screws each and we use the old couch seat belts to assist in retaining them when traveling.
Hope this helps.

Nice job on the renovation Dennis, looks like a new coach. Even though ours is new, we are looking at the recliners also. There is just the 2 of us, and really have no need for the coach/bed. Thanks for heads up on having to extend slide. Always assumed the recliners would fit in that space.

We switched ours with Lazy Boy wall huggers. Works great.

We swapped our couch for two Euro Recliners. Love them.
