Does anyone know if Magnum Energy or a dealer has or would swap/upgrade an ME series inverter/charger for the MS series. The ME which is in my 06 coach is the modified sine-wave inverter, the MS is the pure sine wave inverter. I would prefer the MS series because of some sensitive electronics I have.

I have an 07 MADP that had the ME2012 in it I tried to get it changed under waranty because it was not an all electric coach they said no but they sold me the MS2812 wich is what they put in the 08 I think this has more amps then the MS2012 dealer instaled in about an hour if all electric coach they said waranty would of paid for it

Both are rated at 2000 watts but the pure sine wave output of the MS will result in better performance as though it has more wattage output in many cicumstances. The cost difference is why the mfg. does not want to "just do it under waranty". It is not hard to change out by one that is accustomed to working with electrical circuits. Good luck and keep us posted on the decesion and results.

I think the MS2012 is 2000 watts I replaced it with a MS2812 wich I think is 2800 watts the MS2812 is what the 08 have in now magnum told me ME & MS both use the same remote so you dont have to change it
