Switched to LED light cheap

I had two 12 volt overhead lights with 2 bulbs each but the plastic covers were shot, burned yellow etc. In my search for the covers I was on Amazon and they had a led two light fixture for 15 bucks free shipping.

Bought two of them and just switched them out. Work fine. They have those flat like bulbs in them. Plenty of light. couldn't buy just the bled bulbs for much less

I have run across the really inexpensive LED retrofit bulbs on Amazon. My coach has 921 wedge bulbs throughout, and there are 10 packs of flat circuit board with surface mount LEDs available.

However, the various reviews show problems with those cheap assemblies overheating, (the resistors). I have been hesitant to place an order.

I'm curious to see how your LEDs work out.

I think I got the same fixtures you did.
I know you can find, and I have bought bulbs a lot cheaper in the past.
But, I like these for the price.
I got the Gold Stars brand like this.

I'm curious to see how your LEDs work out.
I put the Gold Stars like the OP in last August and they are working great.
THey are brighter than the original but I like that.
The thing about getting the whole fixture is that the lense has kind of a magnifier section that helps distribute the light,
