Tag axle problem

Our tag axle on our monaco Dynasty is stuck and will not go up? We are stuck in Amarillo. Any ideas?

Raising the tag axle is "optional", not a "necessity". So why are you "stuck"?

With that said, 2 things come to mind:
1) The tag axle MAC valve is old and frozen up, or it isn't getting elect due to a blown fuse, etc.
2) this happen to us on one of our tag axle Monacos: a mud dabber clogged the exhaust port on the manifold where the tag axle air bag air is exhausted(above rear differential housing).

We hope this helps

The real problem is the tag regulator valve is allowing 100+ lbs down pressure raising tire pressure 40 pounds. Replaced the regulator and got the same result. Something is overriding the tag regulator valve and we can't figure out what.

I'm confused. 100lbs would blow the bags wouldn't it? And how does it raise tire pressure? Height control valve stuck open?

Problem solved. The people who had worked on the motor home had reversed the lines to the tire pressure gauge! The air bags had gotten up to a 120 and fortunately did not pop! All is well now!

Air lines had been reversed to the tag axle regulator valve, allowing pressures in excess of 100 pounds. Reversed the lines and things are now back to normal.
