Since we purchased our class c last year we have been unable to drive it up our steep driveway. The class c went up perfectly. Since I am the driver I have never actually seen how close it is and it rollers would work. My wife is convinced it won't fit, however, next time I bring it home I'm going to have her record it with her iPhone so I can witness it first hand. It would be much easier to load and unload as well plug into the 50 AMP circuit.

Thanks for this info. I have installed this valve and it works great! It is by far the best option for anyone who has air ride as I can raise my rear end anytime I think it might drag, speed bumps, coming in and out of parking lots etc. I have mine set for approx. 2 1/2" lift which solves my initial driveway problem. I did not want to go any higher than necessary because it causes the driveline angle to be more than desired but for the short low speed maneuvers required it is not a problem. I recommend anyone installing this to install a warning light as well to prevent driving down the highway with the valve in the high position.

Here is a short overview of the cost and procedure.
Materials
Dual Ride Height Control Valve Kit,Haldex #4215003, $250.00
SPST Switch Carling Technologies,# L11D1EHN1-A7900-000 (any SPST switch will work), $25.00
Air Solenoid ASCO, #MX109, $75.00
Relay, 12v Automotive Bosch style, $10.00
Fuse Holder, 15 Amp, $5.00
Wire, wire loom, terminal ends, air line, fittings, $50.00

Mount the fuse holder and relay in the RV electrical panel and the switch in a suitable location in the instrument panel. I had a blank opening and was able to purchase a switch to match my existing ones. Wire the switch to control the relay and run a wire from the relay to the rear of the RV. Feed the relay and switch from the fuse holder.
Install the air solenoid in a suitable location near the ride height valve. Replace the original ride height valve with the Haldex one and connect the lines and connecting link as per instructions with valve kit.

The labour will vary greatly from one installation to the next, depending upon how hard it is to get access to wiring etc. I spent approx 12 hours on mine as I wanted it to look factory when completed.

The only thing I want to do now is add a red LED warning lamp to prevent driving at highway speed with the rear end raised as it would put undue stress on the driveline.

Rangerick. Thams for the detailed information. How many extra inches are you able to lift the rear of the coach?

I have mine set to raise the coach rear approx. 2 1/2 inches. I should note here that the chart that comes with the new valve regarding the adjustments for amount of lift you want does not seem very accurate, but that is not an issue as you will want to do actual measurements anyway. Just use the chart as a starting point. I could likely get 4 inches if I wanted but I would caution anyone not to lift any higher than required as the pushers have a very short driveshaft and the angle changes significantly with ride height.
