Tail pipe....2000 Fleetwood Flair 34

I was on I 95 in Ga. returning from New England and hit an object on the highway...it pushed my tailpipe into my psgr. side rear dual tires...I was able to stop quickly and pullled it away from the tires with a come-along..my question is...the end of my tailpipe from about 12 to 15 inches back from the end is not exactly round..its oval or flat oval. I don't remember if it was that way from the factory or because of the accident..
Can anyone that may have a similar motor home and year ( Bounder is similar body and engine Ford V 10 ) tell me if this is from the factory ( flat oval ) or is it supposed to be perfectly round. I have a 2000 Fleetwood Flair, 34 foot...Ford V 10...thanks....
