You should buy a used coach and save a ton $$$$$.

dealers always start higher then the bottom including show deals.
Reason is they R concerned your trade value will disappoint, so they inflate the on the new one and inflate your trade, now they may make you happy.
When I shop I get my prices before the show, that way you can see if there is in fact a deal...I always say no trade.
If I want to change my mind after getting there best price I tell them my friend doesn't want to by my current rv , what's the trade deal.
If in face you are trading the the only price that matters is the dollar difference anyway.
One point about placing an order at the show your delivery time will be sooner than waiting till after the show orders pile in.
Last point drive your current rig to the show it to them right then and there to get your best price rather than having them just take trade value out of book blindly, if they do you have too be offered less sight unseen.
ps: it is not a Lazy Days show by any strech

We are planning to go mainly see as many different brands/models as possible. If we happen to catch a deal that would be a plus.

Gary, in this case it was their best price. They were offering over thirty percent off MSRP. It was not a published price, ie: signage etc. the dealer would not move off this price point. The only negotiations were on the trade value of our present MH. We received less on the trade than I would have liked but I knew the coach we purchased was priced well below my research. Thus a fair purchase price for a unit we liked and wanted. We have been fortunate as it is a great coach and may well be our last coach? '

Thanks for the additional info, Clay. I've known several people who got excellent deals at RV shows, but they all bargained hard for them. Often the best price can be had if you hold out til the last day, but that runs the risk of someone else buying the rig you want.
