technology update part 2

I may have stumbled on something here. For those with iPhones or I Pads (and an unlimited data plan), you can use either the Apple component or composite cable to your tv, and it works going down the road if you have a decent signal.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks again!

been using an aftermarket iphone component adapter for several years in my honda insight to get audio to my stereo. works perfectly. i need to find an adapter that just gets the l/r audio to put in there so i can use the component adapter in the rv for the tv. the rv stereo has a usb input that also charges the iphone, so that part is handled.

On the car I used to have the Kenwood radio had an A/V adapter module plugged in so I could feed left/right audio directly into it.

On the motor home the Pioneer has an IP-Buss jack.. And I have the proper adapter for it plugged in so that.. This very day,,, As I drove to/from church,, I simply plugged in my HI-MD and played the disc in it (3 cd's worth of music and room for severl more)
Home is where I park it!

I have used this in a limited capacity, since I have only had it about 3 weeks. Stationary with a decent 3G signal (>3 bars), works great. Going down the road, or stationary with 1-3 bars it is still pretty good. This is on a tube type tv, so changes in resolution aren't that apparent, and occasionally the video stops to buffer. On an EDGE network, even with 5 bars, the connection is just too slow. This is with the composite ( yellow, red, white) with an iPhone 4. Plus, if you have digital copy DVD's or Blurays, MPEG's, etc....then you can store them on your iPhone or iPad and play them as well.

For audio, it works great. Didn't even think to try Pandora on the EDGE network....
