Thank you...and another question re selling options!

Thank you for your input regarding my earlier post about selling our Motorhome and Jeep on eBay. Your comments were very helpful!

Are you familiar with or had any experience with Specialized Auto Marketing? After posting on Craigslist, we got a request from Maria Miles of Specialized Auto Marketing for wanting to list our Motorhome and Jeep. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Be cautious! We have had several different companies try to steal our listing when we advertised on Ebay and craigslist. Make sure you get all fees and services in writing!

Don't trust anyone that contacts you on craigslist representing themselves as a consignment seller or broker.

If they are like the guy that contacted me....it's all about getting the $495 for the ad in their "numerous sites" (his words)!
It was a SCAM!
Be careful....

RV Trader is probably the best, because all inquiries are funneled thru RV Trader to provide some level of protection to the seller.
That's been my experience with them.

Sold my Newmar in 35-37 days!

Good luck!

Agree with everyone, don't use anyone trying to "help" you sell it that contacted you through Craigslist period.

I sold our '04 Georgetown MH through Craigslist in 4 days. Now granted it was only $30,000 but I had multiple people that wanted it. I got $28k for it. Dealer told me I would be lucky to get $20k.

The biggest factor is a great ad. As many pictures as are allowed (Craigslist is still 12 I believe). Very good detail about the coach including all upgrades/work you may have done on it. I keep very good records so I listed everything I had done to the coach with the date I did it and the miles on the coach when done.

You can't just say "Coach is in excellent condition or like new". You know how many other ads say the same thing? All of them.

Good luck.
