I'd like to share a recent experience I had with Good Sam ERS. I was on I-10 in San Simon, AZ and wanted to go boondocking for a week on BLM land just north of San Simon. I took exit 382 and meandered through the village of San Simon to find my way to the BLM road. About a mile up the road I found a nice clear area and decided that was where I wanted to spend the week. I turn off the hard packed road, get about 60 feet in and decide to turn, bad decision. As soon as I turned the front and rear tires sunk and I'm stuck big time. Now, I am no where as "in the middle of"

I called Good Sam ERS and being the pessimist I am, figure they are going to give me a hard time. That couldn't be farther from the truth, they made sure I was safe and in no danger, got detailed directions and called a towing service. They called back with the name and approximate time the truck would arrive. I met the tow truck driver at a local truck stop and he followed me out to the spot. Now this truck is big enough to raise most of the Titanic I am sure. When we got to the site, he decided the sand was too soft for his 48 Ton truck and would have to winch my rig ('05 Bounder on a W22 Chassis)from the road. It took him almost two hours to get me out but there was no damage and not even a paint scratch on the hitch bar, he used a canvas strap connected to the winch cable.

ERS paid the entire bill which covered his drive time both ways and two hours of winch time. It didn't cost me a dime.

The guy from the tow service waited and made sure everything was OK with the rig and that I was able to get on my way. The name of the outfit is Big Dave's Towing out of Benson, AZ and his name was Dana. If you're ever in need of towing or RV service in the Benson area give them a call, I highly recommend them.

It's great to hear a positive report of services. Too often today we only hear the negatives so I appreciate you taking the time out to post the positive.

Hopefully more folks will run into folks who take pride in their work and are pleasent to deal with.
