The Mandalay Presidio 38e

I am looking to buy a new or used class a diesel. The presidio 38e has the floor plan and size I am looking for. Does anyone own this unit? How do you like it?

Welcome. You will get lotsa great advise here. This is my 2 cents. You like it, that's all that matters. Every coach will have an issue or two. Get an extended warranty, buy from a dealer you trust, get the best deal you can. Add your family...Enjoy..D

I agree, if you like it, get it. We all have opinons as to which floor plan and/or brand is best for us based on our likes and financial where-with-all, but only you can decide what is best for you. Most all coaches have the same brand of manufacturer of appliances, tires, chassis, engines, etc.

You did not give year. But in general the coach you are looking at gets about average ratings from RVCG on handling, value, and reliability. But the key is if you like the floor plan, you can drive it and are comfortable doing so, the appearance appeals to you. Just as a suggestion / recommendation - if you don't love it keep looking.

We have had ours 15 months and I love ours. Good thing as it was a lot of work and money getting all the things neglected by the PO fixed.

We currently own a Forest River Georgetown 378. This is our 2nd Georgetown and I really like the way it handles, etc. We will be retiring soon and plan to travel full time, at least for a while, so thought a diesel made more sense. It would give us more power and more space. I don't care for the Berkshire or the Charleston so have started looking around. I like the floor plan of the Presidio with the full wall slide but haven't read much on dependability, etc. I'd like something newer, maybe a 2009. If anyone owns a Presidio and has had any specific problems, that would be helpful.
