people sell there homes with nice yards to hit the road... this is how they end up...
I think it's driv'n by boredom and loneliness...
when ever we visit a rv park... some of the coaches would take 8 hrs just to load up the junk on the patio

We fulltime and move about 35-40 times per year. Seldom the same camp twice.
This continent is a pretty big oyster.
No boredom here!
And the Journey is Our Destination!

Michigan winters are tough. Leave a house on a lake (ice over 2' thick this year) to go someplace warm and sunny. I don't much care about neighbors being close as long as they don't block the sun. 4 months of this, currently in Sierra Vista,AZ, and all is good.

The only places we go that are repeats is here in Sierra Vista and Port Aransas and Rockport,TX. those are our only go to places and not every year. Been doin' this 17 winters so we have it figured out what works for us.

Our reasons are multi-faceted.
1) There is a whole lot of country we want to see and things we want to do. For instance we would like to ride every last roller coaster in America.
2) The freedom to pick up and go when & where we want to and stay as long as we want. Ahh the freedom of that.
3) In my work for a non-profit I have worked with (long distance) with thousands of people many of which I would really like to meet face to face and break bread. They have become friends over the years and some are like family to us.
4) Because a big class a (along with a stacker) allows us to take the things we need/want with us anywhere we go. No wishing we had packed _______ . You can feel at home (if you are a full timer you are home) no matter where we park.
5) Because we can have no neighbors or millions of them depending on our mood. An endless party/bbq or a place so quiet you can hear your heart beat.
See you on the road.

We already live out in the sticks, so when we go camping we do it at a busy Walmart in the inner city.

May I ask where you stay here in Sierra Vista? People ask me all the time where there is a good RV park here and other than Ft. Huachuca (military only), I don't honestly know.
