Sierra Vista Village Mobilehome and RV park. State rte 90 East of town near Schrader Rd.Been coming here off and on for 17 years.

Personally, our RV started out as a base/home for our motorsports activities. Whether it be drag racing, sand duning or snowmobiling we were always in our home away from home and we were together as a family.

Now that we have gotten out of racing and sold our sleds and sand toys, we enjoy seeing various places on road trips towing our Jeep and Harley. Lately I think we have had more fun doing that and meeting some great people moreso than when we were racing.

I HAVE to deal with certain kinds of people at work, when we are traveling in our RV we are meeting people that we WANT to meet and in a recreational environment rather than having to deal with egos and certain personalities at our full-time jobs.

For my wife and I our RV is our "out" and stress relief from our hectic jobs.

Granted, I am sure all of us have had certain people we wish we would have never been parked next to, BUT then there are those that we are glad we met and have created life long friendships with.

I just wanted not to have to get off the ground every time I had to pee at night while tent camping with grand kids.....now, I just feel like I'm on vacation every time I step in it, wherever I am.. I probably could have been a bag lady, just thankful I am not. At present I have a summer home at lake with mountain view, sandy beach....what's not to love .....and I don't have to cut grass.

Agreed except the tax bill. We still own some land in OK but the tax bill on that is less that dinner for 4 at Ruth Criss

I say it's the event... the cocktails and swapp'n stories..the get away..

the rv parks if you want or the "What was that noise " boondocking...

I try to explain the waist of money as some non rv'ers put it ...

I'm not gonna set in the house and put x's on the calender till they put the dirt blanket on me..

rv'n is what we do

Our favorite spot is a little campground that only has 10 sites. Its right where the pavement ends and the Usfs land starts. No hookups and you can't see another campsite from yours. The only time we stay in a rv park is when we boat because they are located right on the lake.

Ours is a little different, it's our work house.

Just about every penny we earn happens while living in the bus. We don't know where we be or how long we will be there.

Sometimes we find a park close to work, sometimes it's a 30 min drive. We driven 1500 miles to end up only working 6 hours and we been 120 miles from the stick-n-brick to work 10 months.

The important part for us is always being home, in our house.

Our reason for full timin was to be able to spend real time with friends & family .... which we have bunches of at each of our destinations ... and making new ones along the way .... to Gordon's point, which is what I initially read into the question,. can be done in anything ... doesn't have to be a class A ...
Being full time we wanted as much space as possible, which left us with either a big 5er ... and with one of our 3 month destinations being SanFran, a 1ton truck just didn't seem to fit the bill due to parking ..... thus our reason for class A. And we can still be both ... meeting lots of new folks ... or just time away from everything .......... any time we want .... just pull in the slides and roll !!!!
