Thermostat

The A/C thermostat in our 2014 Journey is not working. It seems frozen in place. Zone 1, Cool and temp show but we can't toggle between zones, mode, temps, nothing. A/C's shut down. Have tried every breaker etc. Nothing. Any ideas? 90 degrees

If you have the 5 button Duo Therm thermostat I would try a hard reset.
Turn thermostat off with black switch at bottom of thermostat. Depress and hold the zone and mode buttons. While holding two buttons depressed, turn thermostat on with switch at bottom. FF should show on display. Release two buttons. 5 button Duo Therm Thermostat has been reset.

Or remove 12v power from the thermostat for 15-20 seconds. That will almost always reset it, no matter what brand of digital t-stat it may be.

Thermostat

I had this problem once. It turned out to be the plug on the back. After 6 years in place, the contacts had oxidized just a bit. I unplugged the connector and re-plugged it several times and all was well again. That was two years ago and it's still working fine.

Since this removes power from the thermostat, this also resets the thermostat.
