Thermostat won't turn on Roof air conditioners

Went out yesterday to wake up our 2003 National TropiCal 36' diesel pusher from its long winter nap. Started to test A/Cs but thermostat would only light up, but not activate the units. And today same thing, thermostat would only light up, but today when pushing Zone, instead of going from Zone 1 to Zone 2, it would skip from furnace to fan over and over (but it didn't ever go to the cool reading), but nothing comes on. There is power to the units on the roof. Anyone know if the problem is that the thermostat is dead?

Welcome to iRV2.

Sorry you're here with problems .
Question . Is your thermostat a 4 button Duo-Therm , Comfort control unit ?

Some members report , that removing the unit from the wall and disconnecting it from power for 30 seconds performs a full reset .
First thing to try.
The actual 4 button model is no longer made and swapping it for a 5 button unit requires up dating the roof A/C control boards , but there is a company that re-builds the four button model.
EDIT : Just in case it is a four button and a reset doesn't help , info in this link might help.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

The first step would definitely be to do the factory-recommended reset on the thermostat.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
