My wife said she is going to buy me a "bump" cap rather than patching up my skull from walking into an open slide. Four times last trip out and she is out of patience with my stupidity.

Yup, those slides have very very little give to them! Don't ask me how I know!

When and if you get another awning be sure and get four tie straps with velcove on them.
You should, after the AW

Close low point drains and city water connection before
pumping the pink stuff.
Add rinse fresh water tank real well to spring start up list.
That little experience cost me a gallon of pink stuff.LOL

I wouldn't use anything EXCEPT 2-ply toilet paper, and we use what we have in the house. If you will use the "Happy Camper" chemical you won't have to worry about that! Good luck & God bless!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Terry,

Did your awning unroll and blow off while driving? After a discussion about that here, I ordered an Awning Lock

Save Your RV Awning with an RV Awning Travel Lock!

I paid $44 and spent about 30 minutes installing in order to NOT have to climb a ladder to secure my awning.

Hi Shar!

For #1 use baby wipes, but DO NOT not drop into the toilet. Put them in this

Amazon.com: Camco 43931 RV Stainless Steel Trash Can: Automotive

lined with a Walmart plastic bag. Even if emptied once a week there is no odor. Just limiting the volume of TP in the black system really helps. Also, if you will separate the TP sheets (you can stack as many together as you want, but only 1 or 2 sheets long) it will prevent long "ropes" of TP from snaking down the stinky slinky.

Guys, you can quit reading now.

And the wipes really help keep the girl parts clean. I also buy adult size wipes to use for sponge baths when I boondock.

Make sure you turn off the Batteries before storing...on a Winnebago Sightseerer it is just above the steps on the side panel of the Kitchen sink....learned the hard way but fortunately I have a restart switch also.
