Thinking about Spring and service on the coach

It's cold, wind chills below freezing, so I've spent some time watching videos for service of the major items on the coach. Got me wondering, how many of you do all of the service and how many do some of the service.

So far it looks like I can certainly service the Aqua Hot as well as the generator. Changing the engine oil seems easy enough if I find a place to drain all of the old oil before taking it to a recycler.

Is there anything on your coach that you insist on letting the pro's do it? Any tips or tricks to any of the service?

It's not rocket science, and thanks to the internet there's plenty of expertise on tap. Just jump in there and if you get stuck on any item ask.

Get jack stands. You don't want to be under there if the suspension deflates.

I do it all except chassis aligning as I don't have that equipment at home. Yet.

I've even mounted tires on rims, but I hire that done when it comes to the aluminum rims with clear coat, too easy to damage the finish.

Fumoto or Femco drain system is a must for changing oil.
LED magnetic work lights.
Mat to lay on. trays for tools. safety glasses with lights.
Build ramps to raise the coach about 6" this helps with a lot of maintenance.
Buy the proper tools if you need them. You are saving a lot of green by doing your own work you can invest in some equipment so the work is a little easier.
