I think we got a great deal on ours this year. We bought 05' motorhome with 3 slides, 38', 32000 miles for $32,000 and bought our towed '05 liberty with 49,000 miles for $9,000 but we did a lot of shopping and love it!

The motorhome I have now does not have a slide. The one I sold before it, did not have a slide. I sold my airstream to a customer on the lot who came to me and asked to buy it. You are overstating your case. If you were to say that a nonslide would lessen your chance of selling, I would agree with you. Our lots sell nonslide motorhomes every day.

We bought a 1990 Bluebird 40' pusher tag. No slide. My wife and I love it. We specifically wanted a classes coach without a slide.

RV with slides

My wife and I have a Class A with 2 slides and they just add so much more room but if you are just getting your first coach I would start out with what I could afford. At some point down the road you can always up grade.
