Thor Challenger Help
We are new to this life style and so far its not going so good. We sold our farm and bought a 2014 Thor Challenger Sept 14, 2018. Today we can't get large slide to work. Trying to get it to go out. Small slide works. Also can't get leveling jacks in front to go up or leveling jacks in back to go down. Everything worked find when we bought it. We are staying right now in our sons driveway in Yoder, In. Can someone help us please to figure this out. We called Thor customer service with no luck and also called LCI with no luck. Thinking it might be fuse or breaker but everything we have found is working. This is becoming a nightmare as have been working on this all day. Thank you...

If you are unable to locate fuse blocks, you’d better find a mobile RV tech to help you and educate you on how things work. I wish we knew your rig, but learning where all of these parts are is an important step in preparation for failures. Second, buy a Coach-Net membership. They your safety net.

The disclaimer: I don't own a Challenger so this is just general things you might want to check. First, I'd check the hydraulic fluid level for the leveling jacks. I believe the it is located in a storage compartment on the passenger's side behind the rear wheels. With all jacks up, it should be nearly full. This is a link to the LCI Hydraulic jack manual. https://www.lci1.com/assets/content/...ideout-web.pdf
The slide issue could be something as simple as a defective IN/OUT switch. I'd suggest getting a voltmeter and testing the switch.
Hope this helps,

I have a 2014 challenger 37gt and had issues with the jacks. the motor needed rebuilding after having times they would not go up and down.... Also if your house batteries are lower than 12.6 volts the motors ( slide and jacks) do not function well on this unit. I had this issue and when the company rebuilt the motor they stated this to check if further problems. Try measuring your house batteries and charge if needed.
There is a reset procedure on the LCI jack control panel if your getting errors. Do you have your manual
check this thread out for some info also.

Looks like there are some rv repair centers near you also

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
If your storage bay doors open upward they will probably have interlock switches that prevent the slideouts from operating with the doors open. Even if the door is shut, the switch may be defective or just need adjustment! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I would like to thank everyone for their help. We have found the breaker finally. It was tripped. We have learned a lot from all your suggestions. Thank you again.

Welcome to the forum!
I'm glad that you have a resolution. I would suggest that you make sure that you have the manuals for every system on your coach, and then take time to read the manuals and learn your systems by putting your hands on every switch, relay, breaker, and fuse box. You need to have a good working knowledge of your coach and systems, or your full timing lifestyle will not be a positive one. Either that or you are going to be stuck at places time after time, or be spending much time in hotels waiting for service shops to get your coach in and spending much more on repairs at $60-$100 per hour.
