Thor Outlaw 37md

Has anybody driven one of these or better yet purchased this new floorplan. We currently have a Knight but this new floorplan looks amazing. I know it will not drive like my DP but I am hoping it will ride better than my Bounder Classic.

Have a new 37LS

We just came home from our first long road trip in our new 37LS Outlaw. I would think it will drive and ride very similar to the 37MD. The ride was very smooth with good power and comfort. We had very bad winds one day, but the unit did better than I would have expected. Our old 31C Fun Mover was very bad in the wind. The comfort and ease of driving the unit suprised me. We put on almost 1900 miles and the unit now has 3000 miles (the 1100 were the transport to the dealer from THOR). I averaged 10 MPG on the days without the winds, which greatly suprised me. I expected 7/8 MPG. The 24,000 pound Chassis clearly made a difference in the ride and handeling. No roll or bounce. We are very happy with its performance so far. Just a few warranty issues which we expected to have to dealer with.

The 37MD is so new, they haven't made it out west yet...but I'm hoping to see one soon too.

The mfgt should be able to tell you where they are:

But from the Tampa RV show, the Thor rep told one of our fellow members that most the new models are being presold, so they don't sit on the lot long.

Getting ready to take our first trip in our 2014 Thor Outlaw 37MD! This is our first RV and we are very excited to see how everything goes. Drove it home from the dealership about a week ago on a very windy day. I was impressed how well it handled but the true test will be coming when we take our trip to Kentucky next week!

MD vs LS

We went to the factory because there just isn't any lots with both there for sale ... Or any for that matter but we liked the LS because of the large feel of the living area and the MD just seemed really small and the wife hated the shower area in the MD because you are in the hall way .... Also I didn't like the outside living area of the MD because we spend most of our time under the awning and the MD just has 2 little awnings one 13' and a 9' and your slide out in between the 2 ...... And the upstairs was really confined for the wife in the MD so long story - short we ordered a LS .. Hope to get it before the 4 th of July camp trip since we traded the 5 th wheel and truck in already ........ Camper less sucks !
