Thor Tuscany 42wr vs an Entegra Aspire 39e?

I am wondering if anyone out there has any experience with owning a Thor Tuscany 42wr vs an Entegra Aspire 39e. I am told by sales men ENterga is better but love the new design and IFS of Thor...any help???

IMO the first thing to consider is the floor plan. You will be living in it under varying conditions.

Thor has been having some issues but . . . . you have to decide whether they are turning their game around or not. I have looked at Thor and they do make a nice coach at a better price point than other manufacturers.

Are there any other brands that have a similar floor plan?

If you are going for the Thor my suggestion is to examine it very critically at the dealership before taking possession. Make this part of the deal and have it documented. Any flaws, etc you dont like they fix or a replacement coach!

I think a higher end coach will have better materials but they are made by the same staff.

It is your money and your decision. There are lots of Thor owners who think their coach is just fine. All manufactured coaches will have some issues.

Anyone who would chose a Thor over almost anything else is making a huge mistake. I owned a Tuscany, run away as fast as you can.

Have owned our Tuscany for over a year, and love it. Pick any manufacturer, they all have issues, and you will find owners with both good and bad experiences.

As to the two units you're considering, the 42-footer will have a tag axle, and the 39 will not, so that's a substantial difference. Entegra makes good coaches, as does Thor. We considered both last year, and went with the Tuscany, for two main reasons: Entegra only made tag-axle coaches (we didn't want one this time), and we didn't like the Entegras' decor. Apparently the first issue has ceased to be a problem ...
