If you are looking for a more costly but permanent solution, please consider the residential ductless split. They come in many capacities and power (voltage) ratings. They are high efficiency and the compressors are variable speed/capacity. Mitsubishi, LG, Samsung all make good units.

I guess I should add that our DSDP has R16 walls, dual pane windows, an optional roof insulation package, white roof, light colored slide covers and awnings over all the side windows. So I guess it's well insulated.

After some more research, I am convinced I could add a 3rd unit in bedroom with little effort. Would be more effective to direct vent versus tying into the existing ducts. I just need to locate the ceiling joists to confirm, and once 14"x14" hole is cut, brace it to tie in the two joists. Not concerned about noise from this unit because I am either used to fan noise while sleeping OR I rarely have difficulty with coach temperature with 2 AC's at night, just during daytime.

Thanks all.

Chris

At last years rally it was 105 one day. All the ones with the dark colored coaches had cooling problems. We had a infrared heat gun and the dark coaches outside temp was 30 to 40 degrees hotter than my lite colored coach. Their AC's were running full blast and I had mine on auto and it was cycleing on and off. Kept shades pulled and was happy that my coach is a light color. Jim
