Exhaust System

My money is on the full Banks Power Pak System. Are you on the Ford or Workhorse Chassis? I see the '06 Admiral came on both chassis. The Ford will benefit more from the Banks, but there is quite some power improvement with the Workhorse as well.

Banks IS expensive, but I believe worth the investment. Since you are in wet, slushy environments quite a bit, the all stainless steel Banks will last longer the the RV!

Should run around $3400, or so for PowerPak w/Trans Command.

Happy Trails!

the banks headers are a work of art. well worth the money. when it is time to do my exhaust i think i may just buy the banks headers alone and not get the whole system. its grossly overpriced and mpg and performance gains are minimal at best. as far as the stainless mufflers go with the magnaflows. lifetime warranty on these and they are not loud at all. Flowmaster mufflers sound great for the weekend warrior or the grocery getter but they are loud. doesn't matter if its a 40 series or 50 series they are loud. not to mention in the past ten years they're quality in materials has gone down hill. they're mufflers don't last half as long as they used to. have a reputable exhaust shop bend you up an exhaust with stainless pipe and you'll never have to touch the exhaust again. i would either run a single 3' exhaust or run a dual exhaust with 2 1/2' pipe with some sort of x pipe configuration.
