Tiffin Allegro Breeze28 steering problems.

We are thinking of trading a 2004 Mountain Aire 40 ft DP for a 2011 Allegro Breeze 28 ft-to have a more managable size unit as age increases, but have heard concerns raised re steering problems in the Breeze related to short wheelbase (only 195 inches in a 355 inch coach). Has anyone had experience or knowledge os such a problem. T hanks

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I'm sure some of our experts will be along soon with advice.

Best of luck

Yes but a Steer Safe has solved any issues that had popped up. We have a 32BR and LOVE it. Compare the 2 models of 28 single slide and 32 double slide.

The only real issue with that short a wheelbase is downsizing from a large coach to a small one. Think of it this way... you're going from the Queen Mary to a speedboat. The 28 Breeze handles like a sports car..I've driven several of them from my dealership some pretty good distances and never had an issue other than it is shorter than what Im used to. Hope this will help you in your decision... they're a fine little coach..
