Tiffin Allegro Bus Countertops

I have a 2015 Tiffin Allegro Bus. the countertops are attractive but scratch very easily. just sliding the coffee maker around has scuffed it up quite a bit. does anyone have any repair suggestions.
Thanks
Troy

If they are Corian I believe they have a repair process for them. Might try checking their web site or a local dealer/home improvement store.

They are Corian. You can check out how to maintain online or go to www.tiffinrvnetwork.com where there are posts by Tiffin owners on what to do. I have been careful knowing that they were Dorian but even so mine have scratched. Just not bad enough to worry about just yet. Dorian looks nice but it is a far cry from granite!

Instructions from Dupont (Corian manufacturer)
http://www.dupont.com/products-and-s...op-repair.html

I've polished parts of mine 2-3 times in the past 8 years. Our Corian tabletop gets a lot of scratches, as does the primary galley work area. Other places, not so bad and I've just given them one light polishing.

There are polishing creams available in stores that work ok to bring up a new shine, but aren't strong enough to remove any actual scratches.

Unless Tiffin has changed recently, their counter tops are Avonite, not Corian. These are easily refinished by you or an individual who does this work. If you want the complete bible go to http://www.aristechsurfaces.com/site...2014_Hyper.pdf

If you go to their general WEB site, you can read a ton of other good info. We've been taking out scratches since we bought our 2008 Bus. Go slow, take your time and you'll be pleased with the results.
