Better can mean a whole bunch of things, and different things to different people. In terms of luxury and features (and price), the American Coach models begin about where the Tiffin coaches top out. Does that make them "better"? AC includes items as standard that are usually options on an Allegro Bus or Zephyr. Is that "better"? I owned an American Coach for 10 years and in that time saw plenty of Allegro Buses I would be proud to call my own. If I were out shopping today, I would be considering both. And the Newmar DPs as well.

I think that once you get into a high end model like the Allegro Bus or any AC model, the only things that make much difference is what features and amenities you want - and are willing to pay for.

Exactly correct... The "higher up the ladder" you go You find that most "options" that are on the lower priced coaches are now considered as "standard items" with a whole new set of "options" that are not even offered on the lower price point manufacturers.

Don't know where you live but consider where you will have service done. That was why we did not look at Tiffin. Local dealer for Tiffin has a good reputation but we only live about an Hour from Decatur. Thus factory service from AC for us. (Closest dealer is quite a bit further away. LOL) AC (REV) has 3 other factory service centers around the country also.

No matter what you get service will be required. I have not heard of anyone getting a totally problem free coach. Many of the components in the coaches are the same across brands. Like it seems all new DP's have Cummins engines (except those built on Prevost.) TV's, fridge, generator, awnings, air conditioners, etc. all come from pretty much the same suppliers

Differences will be frames (even if same supplier), wall construction, layout, level of finish, perhaps type of floor heat, and some options.

We are very happy with our AC but probably would have been just as happy in other brands with a similar floor plan. Saying that I am glad for the bridge structure as roads as worse than I knew.
