Time for winter

While winterizing our 25 ft.Gb ,we had a problem with the anti-freeze building pressure and feeding back into the line that was on the 12 volt pump. Even though it matched the carpet I was not too happy.I removed the line off of the intake side of the pump and drew the anti-freeze out of the gal. container. We bypassed the water heater and thought that the first winterizing was complete. We did allow some of the anti-freeze to flow into the heater. This was done after draining the system of any fresh water. Even with an open line on the cold side ,it still came out of the open line. I know that the previous owner had winterized it before because we found anti-freeze and the air adapter for the city water supply.I think that we are missing a shut off somewhere.Any help?? Thanks,Tom/Karen
