Time to Replace Tires

Time to replace all 6 tires. Found Goodyear G670RV for $621 ea. However, dealer said the G661 commercial truck tire for only $472 ea. would be a good replacement tire. Does anyone have any experience/advise re. the RV tire vs. a "truck tire" ?

It would depend on what kind of ride you want. Truck tires have thicker tread, stiffer side walls and for the most part will do the same job at a cost. You will get a rougher ride, more road noise, less fuel economy (I have RV tires on my service truck for this reason) and will have "weather cracking" from sitting for long periods of time faster then RV tires.
Hope this helps

I wouldn't be concerned by the difference in truck tire vs RV tire, in fact, I might prefer the truck tire. You should check the load range and the max load carrying capacity against the your GAWR to make sure they will carry your weight at a reasonable psi.

Commercial Toyo M-154 is what i purchased. Tires engineered for commercial use will be more durable and last longer than a tire designed for leisure motorhome cruising.

Don't get too "wrapped around the axle" on the RV vs commercial difference. There are only two tire lines that are marketed as RV tires, the Goodyear G670 and the Michelin XRV. Both have had some performance issues over the years. If you look for an all position design for long haul or regional service in the correct size and load range you are good to go.
