Does anyone have any thoughts on black vs. white tire covers? We spend 6 months a year parked in the desert.

I would think white would reflect the heat/sun better.

I have always heard that white is cooler because it reflects the heat and black absorbs the heat. I do not know if it makes any difference at all in regards to tire covers. If not you may want to get what you think looks better to you on your rig.

Best to you - Glenn

Hi Rich,
Contact the manufacturer and ask your question. Companies that make the grey/black covers may have patents on the material they use. This unique material make make for better protection. From a tire view, it might make no difference. From your view it might make all the difference.
