BTW

Since I have a tag axle, what affect will that have on the weight distribution and psi settings for each set of tires on an axle?

John
The main purpose of the tag is to take some of the weight that would otherwise be on your main rear axle, allowing a higher GVWR for the coach. Compared to a non-tag coach, one with a tag will generally be able to run a lower pressure in the rear tires, since they carry less weight.

The answer to your question, though, is that when you weigh your coach you get 6 weights instead of 4, then set your tire pressures according to the tire manufacturer's chart, just like everybody else.

Update

I'm the OP and I weighed my rig at a truck stop yesterday on the way home from a camping trip.

The front axle was 5120 lbs which is below the 5500 lbs on the MH wall sticker.

The dual axle was 9820 lbs which is below the 11,000 lbs on the sticker.

The tag axle was 3580 lbs which is also below the 4500 lbs on the sticker.

Overall weight is 18,520 which is below the 19,500 lbs on the sticker.

The Goodyear charts show 65psi for all tires at these weights.

I will drop them down from 90 to 65 psi and see how that works. A smoother ride I would think.

Thanks for the feedback.

John

Sounds like you got weights by axle, but not by wheel? If so, many recommend that you add a 5-lb. "fudge factor," because it's likely that the wheels on each axle don't carry the same weight side-to-side, so one side (and thus both, since you need to keep them at the same pressure) would require a higher pressure than that assumed using 1/2 of the axle weight.

And by the way, Merry Christmas!
