Anyone ever run Ohtsu tires? They are made in Japan, good looking tire 295 75r 22.5 load range H Ri 117 or RI 128, $370.00 FET included. Seems like I read some where the bus conversion guys run them.

Not only bus conversions guys use them but many truck and bus fleet owners use them. My brother uses them on most of his fleet trucks as he is a loyal customer of Les Schawb. Les Schawb is a popular retailer out here in the west and especially in the northwest states, they have a loyal following. I believe Les Schawb is one of the major retail distributors of Ohtsu.

Ohtsu is very well respected brand and has a strong reputation for their truck and bus tires. Its parent company is Sumitomo and they now also are under the Falken umbrella. Our tire guy told us that they are now making a lot of passenger car tires too. I wouldn't hesitate in buying an Ohtsu tire ...it's not like you're buying an off-brand Chinese tire. I won't get into politics but, sure, ideally we'd all like to buy a tire that is made here in the U.S., however.
