So far our Cooper's are doing fine. But they are only a year old with approx 6500 miles on them Also a smaller size, 215/85R/16. They were made the same month we bought them !!

How do you like those RM170's?

I just ordered RM170 225/70R19.5 6 out the door for $1255.62. I will have them put on on Friday. How do you like them?
Thanks,
Leon

Only have about 30 miles on them, but I'm going to find out next week. We are heading up thru S.C, N.C. and Tenn. next week for the leaves. I hadn't gone a couple of blocks when I noticed the ride was a lot better than the Goodyears I took off.

I went with the Michelin XZA2 energy 295/80 22.5. I used the FMCA national account. Although pricy the discount was about $115/tire cheaper. Four rear tires $3050. Tax included

I went to the local Tire Shop that sales mostly used tires in this farm (country) area. He was a Cooper Dealer and the price he gave me for all 6 was $1255.00. The ride home was very smooth, the tires are about and inch to an inch and a half shorter that the 8r's but they ride great. These are all position tires and he did spin balance all 6.

I got mine thru my local auto repair shop here in Pooler Ga., Elton's Automotive. He ordered them from his Cooper dist. and installed them. I would think any Cooper dealer could supply them. If not find them online and get a local tire shop to mount and balance them.

I can now answer this question. We put about 1000 miles on them this past week and I have to say I love them. The ride and handling characteristics are alot better over the older G670's I replaced. Money well spent.

After much investigation I went with Toyo M120 265/75R/22.5 tires, installed. balanced, taxes, etc. out the door $3000. We have run them 3000 miles and the ride, handling, etc. IMHO is far better than the Michelin XRV 255/80R/22.5 tires we had on the coach. Also this tire size did not change anything, speedometer, ride height, etc. on the coach.

Just purchased 2004 Georgieboy with 2003 dot stamp on tires. Looking at Michelin(6) 23580R22.5 XRV out the door $3350. Any inputs Michelin vs cooper, dunlop, goodyear etc. Does Good Sam have discountson tires from Camping World.

I took off Michelin's and installed the Cooper as mentioned above. Not sure if they will hold up as long but for the price and the fact that they sit most of the time I had to try them. I searched everywhere about those Coopers and did not see a high failure rate so I am trying them out. Saved a fortune!
I would check and see or ask if you will have room on the rears for those 235's. I had to return 6 tires and reorder 225's because I did not have enough room for the rears. Mine had 8r 19.5's originally.
Good Luck,
Leon
