I've had both and no problems with either brand. I think Goodyears went way up in price so check it out.

GY and Michelin overrated and over priced. I put Yokohamas on and are very pleased with ride and handling. 6 for $2800 mounted and balanced.

I've tried all the others over the years on my autos. Always regretted the decision each time and wished I had stayed with Michelin's.
The last 4 or five times I have always selected Michelin's and have been glad I did. They are on my current motor home, and I like them and would replace them with the same, if it was necessary.
Others have taken a different "path" and been happy....me, I sleep better at night with Michelin's. JMHO

After much research online, I've decided to buy Sailun commercial truck tires. I had excellent results from them on our 40' 5th wheel, they completely solved my trailer tire problems. Sailun has a good reputation, and I've noticed many semi-tractors running them on the steer axle.
I presently have Goodyear G670 which are 8 yrs. old.I agree, Michelin and Goodyear are way overpriced.

Tires
I just went through the same exercise. Chose the Toyo M177 in all 6 positions. Around $500 each. Pleased with the results after the first few thousand miles. Softer than the G670RV they replaced. I probably would have gone with the G670's again, but the quotes I was getting were almost double the cost of the Toyo's.

Neither. Toyo, Continental, Bridgestone/Firestone, Yokohoma, etc. all make excellent tires and give far more value for the money.

Just changed mine over to Toyos about a month ago...Eight 295/80/22.5.
Much better price than the Michelins and so far no problems whatsoever.
As far as the Chinese tires, I just could not go there so did not go for the most expensive or the least in price.
Toyos were in the middle price range and have excellent reviews.

I recently replaced six Goodyear G670's on my MH with six Cooper RM 170 tires, sized 245/70/19.5. Only paid $200 for each, totaling $1320 including labor and balancing beads. The ride is great!. Only several hundred miles on them so far, so no comment yet on the longevity.

With this kind of service, why would you try something else??? Even at $250 difference per tire, (if it is that much) $1500 difference divided by 11 years, is only $136/ year to know you and your family are riding on tires that served you well in the past. I have had the 670RV on a previous MH and will go with either GY or Michelin when my eight tires need replacing.
