I would pick Toyos over the Falkens. I've also had very good luck with Hankooks.

I don't think you can go wrong with either Falken or Toyo but I too would prefer Toyo. I have Toyos right now but wouldn't hesitate at all in buying Falken if they had the size and price I'd be looking for with the exact same features.

Falken is a Sumitomo subsidiary and I'm a fan of the Japanese and South Koren -based manufacturers. I know the Michelin and Goodyear fans disagree but I believe if you can find the correct size and price in a Toyo, Sumitomo or Falken, Yokohama, Hankook, Kumho, etc., I personally believe those brands can match or exceed the quality of Michelin for a lot less money.

I like the Toyo M143 in your size (GO HERE). I believe the Falken RI-128 (GO HERE) also comes in your size and like the Toyo M143 is an all-position tire. The Falken RI-128, however, has 14 ply rating/load range G where the Toyo M143 has a 16 ply rating/load range H.

As a side note, I remember when Falken car tires became available in the U.S. in the mid-80s and they had a terrific reputation among those in motorsports. It was a premium tire and commanded premium prices back then.
