Very well put and very logical thinking on your part, SilverBob! When I get rich enough, I am buying Samson tires.

Samson tires

I have a 1996 Allegro gas class A I purchased a full set of Samsons about two years ago. The coach I bought about about 4 years ago and have been doing a number of up grades tires were on my list. I did all the research on tires I found that the major brands were totally out of my price range. I talked with my local tire shop and they told me what the school system was using on the buses and also several trucking businesses. I visit several other RV sites and on the Classic Winnebago site several people had put Samsons on there coaches one guy had 10,000 miles on his tires and was giving them high ratings. So I ended up with the GL283A 225-70-19.5 Samsoms load rated G I had F rated on my old tires. I was worried about a ruff ride but not the case. I now have about 7000 miles on them and the hold air good ride great no noticeable wear and mounted and balanced $1320. Work great in all weather types and I would buy another set when the time comes. Best of luck on your search and keep them shining.
