Tires: Michelin vs. Bridgestone

Our 1993 Flair came with Michelin XPS Rib tires (steel casing) and when they needed replacing, we used the same. Last time we went with their X RAD LT version (polyester casing), which was OK, but we going to go back to steel.
A friend who actually owns a local tire store has recommended the Bridgestone Duravis R250 tire, which he says is comparable to the XPS Rib and a little cheaper.
Does anyone here have experience with either tire? What is your opinion?
Thanks.

When we still had our 2003 Endeavor, I replaced the Good year Tires with Firestone tires. I think that they were FS 560's, at any rate I was pleased with them. They seemed to ride nice and had good traction for our roads here in Alaska. When the tires need to be replaced on our current MH, I will go back with the Firestone ones.

For the average MH user, their tires will age out before they wear out. Everybody has a favorite tire, and a tire story to tell. IMO if you properly inflate, do not overload, and cover when parked, most tires will serve you well. I personally replaced Michelin tires with Firestone FS560 tires last October. More affordable and doing a nice job.

Agree...get the tires where they give you the best deal.
