I know it has happened. My wife's hairdresser's husband's favorite bartender's nephew's astrologist said she read about that happening on the internet!

Here are a few for you. I can point you to a couple dozen others, many with photos of their RV's ripped apart.

towmax tires failure
We have a 2012 Heartland Greystone. We had one tire blow out 1 week ago. Put the spare on and bought a new tire the next day. Now 5 days later there was a bulge on another tire. Bought a 2nd new tire. Now we are nervous about driving on the remaining 2 original Towmax tires. Is there a recall or any type of warranty? We are not fulltimers and only use our rig during a few weekends in the summer. Always keep the tires inflated correctly and covered during winter months.

Tow Max about to get next victim
Got to campsite today. Tried to put x-chocks on the off door side and they wouldn't fit. Scratching my head I thought wth?? After closer inspection I realized the treads seem to be separating. Now I need to find a local tire shop (we are 4 hrs from home) to get these time bombs off.

Hesitated before getting rid of Towmax
Look at this stack of slightly used Towmax tires!!! That one tire had about 1.5" increased diameter and the sides of the tread looked stretched! Dodged the bullet and will not regret the upgrade.

Blew Towmax
Lost passenger side front tire this afternoon on my 2013 RW 30C. Was going 60 mph (my normal speed) and had catastrophic explosion. My son was following we and heard the loud bang and saw tire shredding. fairly minimal damage. Tin underneath behind front stairs tore loose and is bent. Wires to rear we're cut and fender piece popped loose but remained attached. Now stuck in Spokane waiting for Les Schwab to open on Tuesday so I can purchase 4 new G rated tires. Towmax's have about 5,000 miles on them and are always covered. PSI was 80 when we left camp site. build date on tires was 8/12.
I plan on emailing Heartland and also filing with NTSB. Probably will also contact Tredit.
Theae are but a few of the reports in the last year. Go back 3 or 4 years and there are tons of them.
