To cover or not to cover?

I am storing my RV outside in PA. Should I cover or not?
I am looking forward to a lot of debate on this.
Thanks for your advice

What type of ground? I get concerned with a vehicle parked on dirt/grass that is covered. Cover holds in the moisture and the result can be rather ungly.

If the area where you will store your RV is protected from the wind, cover it up. If it's out in the open the wind will batter the cover against the side of your coach and potentially damage the finish. Not to mention it will rip the cover to shreds.

I'm in Stroudsburg Pa. and have the Adco Tyvek cover. The cover s a little big but I washed waxed and covered sharp edges before installation. The front 1/2 of the coach is parked on pavement and the rear is over 3/4 clean. I have my tires on wood and have a double layer tarp moisture barrier under the rear.
This is my first coach and we will see what happens, just do the best you can.
Of coarse the final cover placement follows all other coach winter prep.
Tiffin 32 SA: 35' 6" , cover size 34-37 ' Adco.
Good Luck !

To cover or not to cover?

I am in Marshalls creek in the woods. If I do not cover could the snow do any damage?
Thank you for your replies.

Gee,

I also have a 32SA, but it's only 34'3"..... I covered it for about 2 months during the winter last year. I THOUGHT i'd covered the sharp edges (the gutter spouts), but the edge-covers fell off and the gutters pierced the cover. I'm otherwise parked on a gravel pad next to my house with 50 amp plugin and 2 oil-filled heaters in the coach to keep it above freezing inside and a light bulb in the water bay, jacks down.

I uncovered a week before our trip in March - got snowed on (with the slides in fortunately). The only issue was that I couldn't clear the snow off the roof as it melted a bit a froze. For the next 2 days I would periodically shed a piece. I worried about it hurting an A/C cover or something, but it didn't, just a shower of snow in the rear view mirror occasionally. The cover had plenty of straps and cinches.
