Bear spray is effective on attacking dogs and 2 legged attackers as well. I have heard from some that it is even legal to take across the border to Canada ....as long as on the can it says for "bears". Some use wasp spray. This is a handier size to take with you walking.

Your wealth of knowledge in cool gadgets is cracking me up. Your like a walking RV shopping catalogue. I love it. Keep them coming. This could get expensive!

Keeping up with the weather is important! It could save your life. Get a weather radio and know what you should do in the event of a tornado or flash flood warning. This particular radio has a cool feature....it can find and automatically lock on to the strongest station in your particular area.

For the times when open wood fires are prohibited, most likely this nifty propane powered "campfire in a can" would be allowed. Even when fires are allowed, many places have regulations about transporting firewood.....as it can spread harmful insects and fungi to forest areas. This way you don't store or pay for firewood !

The "trouble light" and incandescent bulb is an easy way to add supplemental heat to your basement, and keep water lines and tanks from freezing. This model is a heavy duty - UL listed light rated for 100 watt bulbs. Cheaper ones are only rated up to 75 watts, and may not carry the UL safety rating.

Rough duty incandescent bulb with up to 4000 hours life - for above light. Get them while you can! The government is phasing out incandescent bulbs, and soon you won't be able to buy them easily!

This little tool has hundreds of uses! Find bad bearings (by heat!) dragging brakes, overheating transmissions, overloaded electrical outlets and connectors, check air conditioning and heating ducts, heat intrusion or loss through windows walls and floors, and you will dream up many more! This model has a "Max" function that seems handy.

Get a key safe like this one.....put in spare keys to the RV and your tow vehicle or toad, and never be locked out again. Also comes in handy if you are away from the RV and need to call on the phone and give someone access. Lock it to your outside ladder, or other secure metal item. A four digit combination opens the box to take out the keys. Combination can be changed anytime you want.

If your showerhead disappoints you, try one from Oxygenetics......they make the most from low water pressure, and are said to never clog with hard water deposits.

Many different models available.

Here are two examples.

This little device is very useful. It answers all those questions like .... How much is it costing to run the battery charger while in storage? How much does that refrigerator cost to run? Is the generator putting out ideal voltage and frequency? Is the RV park experiencing low voltage right now? If I plug in to a friends house, how much should I offer to pay for the electricity I'm using? Is that new fridge actually using less amps than the old one? And lots more!

When bugs bug you...don't get chased back into the RV ! Fight back! These two devices are so much fun, you might be disappointed if there are no bugs left !

This one even works on those little fruit flies and gnats.

This lets you practice your aim. Keeps the kids or grandkids entertained for hours as well! Uses ordinary table salt as ammo.

Special shirt for camping. Fabric repels bugs, and also short sleeves with built-in mosquito netting.
