One of the more challenging things about driving an RV is getting used to the height. In a car we never give it a second thought....but a class A can go over 12 feet tall ! This means fuel station roofs, low bridges, and trees become a concern.

With this system you will be alerted inside the cab when an obstruction is too low for your RV to safely pass underneath.

A portable induction cooktop is great to have. If you don't have induction in your current RV the portable will boil water faster than most gas cooktops installed in RV's. The portable is also great to take outside and cook things that don't work on the grill. Keeps the smell and heat outside in those hot summer months!

Wow all good stuff to carry, I would add a extension cords with a three way or power strip, jack pads, racket straps, and a length of rope, and a hammer. Love wd40, but also like boeshield t9, expensive but works great.

I have read this whole thread and all that has been mentioned is worthless if you need a Fire extinguisher.

Good tire pressure can prevent abnormal wear of those expensive tires, and could save your life! This is one of the most accurate and best tire pressure gauges to own.

Coffee is a very personal thing. Everybody does it differently, ( or not at all). However this particular model Keurig was designed for use in Hotel rooms, and so works quite well in an RV versus the home models. Let me explain.... Many RV's have a limited amount of power, and have trouble when AC units, microwaves, hair dryers, etc are all on at the same time....add to this the fact that most coffee makers consume 1200-1500 watts of power, and something's got to give ! Well this model uses just 700 watts of power. It's going to take longer to heat the water, this is true.....but at least it won't trip any circuit breakers ! You see Hotels have the same issue......if all the rooms fire up a high wattage coffee maker all at the same time, the hotel electrical system could strain under the load !


Making coffee even using your batteries and inverter is more doable with this special 700 watt machine from Keurig!

Have you ever left something behind at a campground, rest stop, truck stop, etc after getting back on the road? Well I think everybody has at some point in their lives. This little gadget might help with that. It's a little round device about the same size at your car alarm transmitter. It pairs to any phone or tablet by Bluetooth. A free app for the phone manages this. Attach the little transmitter to what you don't want left behind...and when the phone and this device get more than about 30 feet away the app lets you know. You can also reverse the scenario, put the transmitter on your keyring, and it will let you know when you have left your phone behind!

How about a good defibrillator, for when the big one hits or someone blows an air horn in your ear?

If you are taking the scenic highways, you know that many times cell coverage is non existent . If you should break down and can't call on your cell phone, you will be glad you packed this. Truckers and police routinely monitor CB radio channels, and you may be able to call for assistance using one of the 40 channels available to you. It's even possible to get a portable antenna which you could put on the roof to greatly extend your wireless range.

Another great use for this radio would be if you are traveling in a caravan with one or more RV's. To talk with the other members in your group, CB radio works easier, and doesn't cost airtime. Talk all you want, there is never a monthly bill !
