Topper tore off slide

The topper on my slide tore off and I think it must be wrapped around rod under the cover. Can I reattach material or must I replace everything? If I can repair, how do I do it?

Need new fabric and then instructions on rewinding the springs. I replaced the fabric on our rig and a friends. Easy to do IF you do it before it rips completely apart.

Just did one on a 2005 Winnebago Vectra this week. Not a real tough job to do, but you will need at least one other helper, two would be the best if this is a big slide. Take a look at http://www.toughtopawnings.com.

It's not really hard to replace the topper material. Look on youtube for several good video's.

If you need new fabric, and you probably will, call Stone Vos.

Chris, the owner, is a coach owner and uses absolutely the best fabric and thread available. You will not be disappointed.
