We had our awning and slide topper replaced by the insurance company under COMPREHENSIVE WIND DAMAGE. That's why I stick with State Farm.
That may work for you. But State Farm will not do Insurance for a Full timer.

I bet you also have a stix & brick and other vehicles insured with them. I also bet over the last 5 years you gave SF a lot more money then they have paid out for you.

Camping World will sell you coverage for any damage to any Awning on your MH.

They replaced one window awning(Hurricane) & just this last summer a patio awning plus hardware($1,500) from wind damage. Insurance from them I paid $150 one time $0 deductible for a 5 year contract. The 12 year old patio awning went out 1 month before the contract was up.

My wife and I did ours in about a hour, not a hard job at all. He'll provide instructions and his material is heavier than original. Ours has been on for over a year now and still looks like new. Ours was on a 12ft slide and cost $144 so yours should cost a bit less than that.

Good Luck

Dick

X2 on this. I did ours a couple of weeks ago--15' cost me $189 including shipping and he was very fast. Really pretty easy to do.
