TMC looks to be offering a brand new Diesel Pusher in their Class A line-ups.
The Venetian, with 2 floor plans:

Well, 11" over 40' so you'll need a Class B license in CA to legally drive it.

Looks nice but I'd have to dig deeper into the construction and materials.

Specs seem the same as the Tuscany XTE line. Maybe it is just a renaming of the XTE

Any smart buyer should. TMC brings alot to the market with a great price point.

Can't agree. The differences start with ISB (360HP) vs ISL (380 and 400HP) and goes on from there, like the standard VIP Smart Wheel and floor plans offering more options.

TMC isn't doing a tag or floor plan over 40'11", so this looks to be placed between the flagship Tuscany and the Tuscany XTE. That is an interesting business model, but since TMC is the best selling motorhome maker in North America, I will accept they know what they are doing.

Almost every manufacturer (except maybe Prevost converters) build to a price point. Some cut here and others there. You just have to decide if where the cuts were made is OK with you and your planned use.

Again agreement. Equity of price point requires equal build facilities, build cost, and economies of scale. Without these factors, price point cannot be comparable.

While these "blingy" RV's are not for everyone, neither is a Class A toy hauler (like in our signature)...but lucky for us, Thor offers these and many RV's to fit most all preferences from the classic AirStream, to Coleman Pop-Top (yes, like the lantern).

A lot of the nay-sayers lose sight of that. Thanks for mentioning it.

I believe the new Venetian is very similar to the '15 Tuscany XTE 40, there was one model of the '15 40 that was available with the ISL engine and the independent front suspension but I can't recall which model it was.

The GVWR has gone up 6k, as well as 150g fuel tank. Nice features for sure.

I keep telling folks to take a look at Thor's new diesel models, they have stepped up their game this year. Unfortunately, we'll have to keep our oldy-moldy 2013 Tuscany for now.
