Touch up paint

I had 2 new Dometic AC's installed on the coach earlier this year and and the top covers are white and the main color on the coach is a metallic red/maroon. Th old ones were the Maroon color. So found the actual color codes from Airstream when the coach was new and found a Sherwin Williams Auto paint supply store and they mixed 3 shaker cans of paint for me today. As soon as it gets warm I will check out the color match. The paint is mixed with a clear coat finish. The 3 cans were around $50 and took about 15 minutes to prepare. They can also mix small 1/2 pint cans as well.

Don, that sounds like a great idea! Did you check with them to be sure the paint will adhere to the plastic shrouds? I have had problems in the past with paint adhering to plastic. Just a thought....

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I was told it is an all surface spray paint. We will see if that is the case and test it on plastic before painting the covers. Thanks
